POLYBRON 708

DESIGNATION	POLYBRON 708 Supple liquid polyurethane waterproofing system for concrete Prepolymer reacting with air humidity. Semi-thick polyurethane elastomer.
APPLICATION	Aromatic polyurethane resin for indoors and outdoors applications. To get a perfect colour stability outdoors, use aliphatic POLYBRON 707 resin.
LOCALIZATION	POLYBRON 708 suits to all waterproofing works or waterproofing repairs for : Humid rooms and individual or collective technical rooms, such as sanitary, kitchens, laboratories, aquatic centres... Under tiles, cement structures Ponds, gardeners, terraces, balconies, gardens, gangways... Tanks, containers.
SUBSTRATES	Old or new concrete substrates, indoors or outdoors if UV protected. Concrete and cement structures, wood and wood aggregates Ferrous and non ferrous metals Old coatings : make sure of the perfect adhesion of the previous protection and its compatibility with the primer.
PROPERTIES	One-component polyurethane resin ready to use, in solution with an organic solvent allowing to obtain a waterproof coat. Supple and resistant polymerised film.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION	The substrates have to be perfectly clean, dry and free from grease. Any impurity or non adhesive part should be removed. Cohesion should be checked. Sharp angles must be pressed down. Avoid humidity traces. Substrate humidity should not exceed 6%. Please refer to the technical data sheet of the adhesion primer adapted to the substrate.
APPLICATION	Manual application : Brush or roll without dilution. Apply two crossed and regular coats. Interval time between two coats : minimum 12 hours and maximum 48 hours. The application must comply with DTU norms and Art rules. Refer to the Cahier des Clauses Techniques VERITAS CEMEX-POLYBRON N°9 of 12/93 Do not apply if hygrometry is >85%. Do not apply by rainy or cloudy conditions. Minimum temperature for application : 5°C. The surface temperature must always be 3°C over the dew point temperature, according to temperature and humidity, determined by relative humidity. If temperature is >35°C, specific arrangements must be made.
EFFICIENCY	Average consumption : about 500 g/m² per layer. Average thickness with two layers is about 1mm. Drying @ 20°C and Relative Humidity 65% Dust free : 4 hours Overcoating : 12 hours Dry : 24 hours Full cure : 72 hours
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE	Flammable product, do not smoke Harmful product by inhalation Contains isocyanates. Use ventilated storage Keep away from food stuff Do not throw in sewerage system Reacts with water, alcohol and amines and produces gas release. Flash point > 26°C

SHELF LIFE	Shelter the closed packs in a dry, temperate and ventilated place. Avoid frost and temperatures > 30°C. Maximum shelf life : 6 months.
