POLYBRON 703

DESIGNATION	POLYBRON 703 ANTI-CORROSION Primer Paint with Metal Zinc
APPLICATION	Indoor and outdoor Anti-Corrosion.
LOCALIZATION	Ferrous substrates, in country, city , marine and industrial environments. - Marine, chlorinated, and oxidising environment - Crude oil and processed products storage tanks - Protection of sub water structures - Metallic works, oil platform bracings, tanks, constructive works, chemical industry.
SUBSTRATES	Iron metallic and galvanized substrates, ferrous or non ferrous previously treated substrates. Old coatings : Make sure of the old protection adhesion, and its compatibility with the primer. Do not use on aluminium substrates
PROPERTIES	Paint base made with metal zinc, specifically treated for anti-corrosion. Highly efficient sacrificial protection for severe conditions (electrolytic and chemical oxidising). Outstanding adhesion on safe metal Mat metallic aspect. Polyurethane binder : fast drying and high resistance to chemicals. In case of extremely severe conditions, the anti-corrosive properties can be reinforced by applying a complementary coat of POLYBRON 704.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION	The substrates that are very corroded have to be sandblasted or gridded to degree DS 2 or DS 2.5. They must be perfectly clean and free from grease and dust. The adhesion can be reinforced by impregnation with primer POLYBRON 702 A.
APPLICATION	- Manual application : with roll or brush - Spray painting : maximum thinning with 10% to 20% of a polyurethane thinner. Do not apply if hygrometry is >85%. Minimum temperature for application : 5°C. The surface temperature must always be 3°C over dew point temperature, according to temperature and humidity parameters. Allow to dry 2 to 12 hours before covering with complementary coat of POLYBRON 704. Maximum interval time with complementary of finishing coat : 48 hours.
EFFICIENCY	Average consumption : 300 to 400g/m² Drying @ 20° and 65% Relative Humidity Dust free : 15 minutes Dry : 1 hour Interval time for additional coat : 2 hours
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE	- This product contains harmful and flammable isocyanates. - Flammable product, do not smoke, do not use near any fire source. - Keep away from children - Keep away from food products - Irritating product for skin and eyes :If any contact with skin, quickly rinse with water and soap or detergent ; If any contact with eyes, rinse with running fresh water

SHELF LIFE	Shelter the closed packs in a dry, temperate and ventilated place. Avoid frost and temperatures > 30°C. Maximum shelf life : 6 months.
